Does anyone have Randy Brickley's email address? My computer crashed last week and took his email address down with the ship. Brickley had responded to several of us, including me, after he wrote a story panning Ming and insisting Yao will be a bust.

I just thought it would be interesting to see how he responds to ESPN's Ric Bucher who said:

The more he lets NBA fans see of him, the more they will realize he is the answer to everything critics find wrong with the league today. He's accommodating to fans and media alike. He doesn't give any more importance to himself or the game than they deserve. He isn't letting his fame distract him from the task at hand. He's a team player to a fault -- that anyone else is even being talked about as Rookie of the Year, at least at this point, is a joke. And he's the hardest worker the Rockets have.

I thought it might be fun -- and he was a pretty good guy about the whole thing -- to see if his tune has changed.

Yao will play a lot of ball between now and the Suns next meeting in Houston on Jan 15th. It'll be interesting to see what that clown writes about then.

Thanks, Blatz. He replied to just about everybody and was a pretty good guy about differences of opinion. He felt Ming has performed well only in circumstances where he was not faced with a challenge. Brickley is certainly entitled to his opinion and we to ours, but it's fun to have Yao add emphasis to our argument with a great statement against the Spurs.
