I don't think you understand why howard could not get 20fga per game so far. He simply isn't good enough to take that many shots, eg, his offensive repertoire is pretty limited. His post moves are still very raw, and jumpers aren't there. His only dependable weapon is dunks. He'll need some extra seasons to develop his offense. So don't worry about him, Yao dominates because he's a complete package.
