Man I hate the effin racism on this board at times. Such as the stubborn people that are hating on the Muslims for fasting during the month of Ramadan.
As I posted in another thread, Muslims aren't a race, so hating on Muslims is not racism. Having said that, I too get really sick of the Muslim bashing by certain posters (we all know who they are).
I believe that Muslims can classify as a race. I think people hear race and they only think skin color when the term race is much more broad than just that. It can be cultural or social (which would include religions) as well as genetic factors (which would include skin color, hair color, etc.).
muslims are racially similar, genetically and phenotypically speaking to aryans, caucasians, caucazoids, which ever term you choose to describe "whitefolks"
get over it. All religions get badmouthed/ridiculed/mocked/etc at some point. Apparently it's cool to belittle people's faith and customs to prove how much smarter you are.
There is a big difference between ridicule and discrimination. If you don't see that Muslims are being discriminated against, then I have no idea what will help you see that.

One might think Rockets fans would be a bit more tolerant of Muslims. How hard is it to figure out? Muslims aren't terrorists, although some terrorists use Islam as a means to an end.

Don't be so hung up on semantics. The point is, hating an entire group of people, most of whom have none of the traits you hate, is stupid. Bigotry is bigotry.
my bad, i was using improper terminology you are correct i should have clarified by saying arab muslims, or middle easterners
