Thought I'd start a thread where we can post things from the other side. My favorite "ooh-look-how-clever-i-am" so far is this one: Promotional Idea - Harden Pez Dispenser Look. We all know a key to the WCF will be whether Harden gets calls. The Warrior strategy of keeping hands back/up has worked pretty well in the past. That said, last series he literally hit a player in the face with the ball and still drew a foul call because of his Pez dispenser impersonation. Everyone knows he does it. Any contact, by a defender or himself, even no contact, and he throws his head back, which also makes the beard rise (which I actually think is a component of how it fools refs that must know the tactic, being so visually dramatic), and he draws a whistle. The organization should take steps to make it a point of emphasis! Imagine a giveaway of Harden Pez Dispensers, each "Pez" actually having "FOUL" written on it. Throw Harden’s Head back, and draw a foul. Cause the league a little embarrassment and maybe refs swallow whistles or even give a technical if he does it on a play with no contact. You know such a promotion would get just as much coverage, if not more, than OKC’s cupcake crap. If only the Warriors had home court and could do it for Game 1.
Eh, I honestly could care less about that argument, mainly because 99 percent of the time they contradict themselves in the same breath. “Harden isn’t good in the playoffs because he doesn’t get the same calls he got in the regular season.” Then, the same person two minutes into the game, “Harden gets every single call.. wish our guys got those too!” Well... which is it? Does he get the calls or not?
Right? Plus, the Warriors established their current dominance by skirting the edge of a legal play (the screen) while the refs swallowed their whistles.
It's hilarious that the picture to the article about Harden getting bogus calls shows Harden clearly getting slapped on the wrist. Dumb.
So after the Warrior fan has the brilliant idea that his team should give out Harden Pez dispensers because his head supposedly snaps back after every single play, this happens: Dubs fans talk a lot of **** about Beard and CP3 being big floppers, but they conveniently overlook their own flopping superstars like Curry and Thompson.
