My wife's laptop seems to be running warm. Should the fan on the bottom always be running? I keep looking at it and it is not spinning.

Depends on the laptop and how they have it setup. Most laptops run kind of hot but they shouldn't be to the point where it's blazing hot. The fans are usually there and cut on when it gets really hot as a fail safe at times. On other laptops they turn off and on periodically to cool down. So it's kind of hard to say, but it's based on the computer.

I hope those are CLUTCHFANS she has on that laptop. ;)

Maybe she just closed the screen and it's still running? It happens a lot on my uncle's HP ze4630. I asked "why is it hot?" he's all "I don't know." I opened it, and it was ON.
