What's the difference between OPP FG% abd OPP ADJ FG%? Just wondering because the Rockets are in the top 10 in OPP FG, and the top 4 in OPP ADJ FG%.
adjusted fg% includes 3pt%. i don't know if i can explain this well, but say you are hitting 33% of your 3pt fgs then its equal to hitting 50% of your 2pters. adjusted fg% compensates for 3 point shots which would lower the fg% even though they are more efficient than 2 point shots. does that make any sense?
