Has anyone ever gotten a ticket from one of the cameras on stoplights? I went through a yellow/red yeterday and I think I saw a flash from the camera. How much is the fine? Thanks
Ummmm do the cameras even flash? DId you go on a "red/red" light or more of a "yellow/red" light? Im suspecting the first, but i think you'll be ok on the second.
I seem to remember hearing that you're alright as long as you're in on yellow, regardless of when it turns red. I could be very wrong though.
It's $75....I already got one. You even get links to 3 photos ,and a cool video where you can watch yourself run the light.
I've always wondered about this. I thought its any part of the car that crosses over when the light is yellow then you are ok?
I think I got one a couple weeks ago. No letter to me yet though. Is it just a $75 ticket? Or do I have to take defensive driving to dismiss it?
I got a $75.00 ...bill. I wouldn't even call it a ticket since it doesn't really go in your record from what I read. Here's the thing that everyone might want to know. Make sure you make a complete stop at a red light before turning right.... I saw a few .jpg files and thought i could argue.... then it's followed by a .avi file...
As I understand it, it's not really a ticket; more like a fine. I don't think it impacts your insurance at all. A friend of mine got a ticket and was so pissed. He showed me the three pictures at work and said things like "how do they know I didn't stop?". A few minutes later he called me over as he just found the video link. Busted!
Someone was telling me this money does not even come to the Texas government or Houston government. The money goes to a company that makes the lights out of state. I was just told yesterday . . . had never thought about it so I am going to look into it more Rocket River . . . it came in reference to Kubosh having a lawsuit about it
