I liked the movie, but I didn't get one thing:

What is the point of the two guys following them in the silver car at the end?

    spoiler:

in my opinions... they are pretty much dead. the movie doesnt actually say it. But I think those guys in the car eventually find them and kill them.

Who's dead? Both the Clooney and the Pitt character know that those guys are back there. I think that they will probably be able to avoid them.

    From Greg's Previews (formerly upcomingmovies.com)

4/22/02 - Michael Fleming of Variety reports that Warner Bros. has hired Ted Griffin (Ravenous), who wrote this film as well, to work on a sequel project called Ocean's Twelve. There's no word yet about whether Steven Soderbergh will return as director, or how many of the stars might return (or what new ones might sign on).

If you listen to the commentary, Andy Garcia says that he thought that since his character in the movie was so powerful that there wouldn't be a way that he would just let Clooney leave. So he talked to Soderberg about it and they added that scene at the end. Its supposed to imply that Garcia let Clooney go free in the casino because he figured Clooney knew where the money was.

Yeah, I figured the two guys were going to follow Clooney until he led them to the money. And then kill him (because you wouldn't want to kill him until you got your money back).

It sort of fits with the original ending. They've successfully stolen all this money, but they can't spend it (because of the guys following them). In the original, they couldn't spend it because the money was burned up in its hiding place, though.
