My wife is there volunteering right now. She is pregnant & gets hungry so she tried to take some snacks into the Toyota center while she is helping. Guess what?!?! They made her throw them all out & told her she would have to buy something to eat inside. WTF is that, she is trying to help out & the TC is worried about a bag of chips she is trying to bring in???? Are the proceeds from the food at least going to the flood victims?

i believe they provide a free lunch...they also have free ice cream and gatorade drinks there as well...im not saying what they did was right, but it wouldnt make sense considering i havent heard of the volunteers having to pay for anything really...

She did get a free lunch, but they made her get rid of her snacks. Then other people were able to take stuff in. Just disorganization on the part of those that put it together. But she was glad she went to help out & thought it was very successful.
