I was just listening to Watermelon in Easter Hay and I swear the voice sounds just like this cartoon my daughter watches called 'dexter's laboratory'.... anyone know if there is a connection???
Some of the music on Dexter's Laboratory is from Skip Heller. Heller is often compare to Frank Zappa. Heller's recordings at times lean to the classic cartoon arrangements of Raymond Scott (think "Powerhouse" and Bugs Bunny).
