Putting pace in perspective

    The rockets are leading the league in pace this year 96.3. However, they are only averaging slightly more than one possession per game than the post oriented finals teams which averaged around 95 possessions per game. The twin towers finals team averaged a whopping 103.5 possessions per game with two low post threats.

    I think the pace we are playing is fun and exciting and reminds of the NBA of the 80's. I believe this is what McHale always wanted because it how the old Celtics used to play. Everyone pushed and shared the ball and ran at every opportunity. That is with 3 dominant HOF front court players.
