It's TIME to make a trade I dont care at this point who is traded or who we get it's TIME. This team cant and will not make the playoffs playing the way they play. Yao cant rebound Cato has no offence Steve/Cat have no BRAINS oh yeah Yao is SOFT AS HELL BIG SISSY... Mo Taylor has no D. How long can C.D./Les/JVG keep this HORRIBLE team together we R suppose to beat teams like Denver, and the Sonics thats no excuse Yao and Steve alone r supposed to handle those mediocore teams... Please if you feel my frustration add on:mad:

    Rasheed Wallace
    SAR
    Rashard Lewis
    Ron Artest

anyone of those guys would be nice at this point...

What's so wrong about this thread? BigRay is right. This team needs to be shaken up because their current roster is not just cutting it. Attendence is down and fans are getting fed up or even worse, disinterested.

Bottom line, something needs to be done - the sooner the better.

    agreed.

but there are other trade threads.

something needs to be done, however. this team cannot consistently perform and will be stuck in mediocrity with this current roster.

I think we need to consider trading Cato plus MoT to someone in the Eastern Conference. Cato could be a starting center, MoT could be a starting PF. We need 1 PF who could score AND play defense to replace those 2 guys. They both have monster salaries, so we could take a well payed stud if someone would be interested.

I'd like both of those guys as role players a little more if they could produce a little more outside their role, you know?

You must have missed Artest stat line last night. 18/5/4. Eddie could never put that up hardly ever. I dont care if players are punks as long as they are good players. If eddie averaged 18/10 as a pf then he wouldnt have been cut. Period.

And there you have it folks!!!!!!!! Someone that understands!!!

the difference between having a nutcase like Eddie and a nutcase like Wallace is that Wallace produces. Maybe not as much as the jailblazers would like, but he produces. Screw this pious sentiment that we cut eddie because he was a nutjob. Bottom line, he didn't produce and therefore he didn't cut it. He was beat out for his job by a backup lazy center. Damn that's hard, but its the truth. We cut eddie because he sucked.

You don't speak for all Rocket fans, and neither do I.

I don't care if Ron Artest is the next incarnation of Michael Jordan.

I'd rather lose with class and dignity than win with punks and thugs.

Les has to spend big bucks and the Luxury Tax to put this Team in Order and if he doesn't, then he must expect to loose at the box office.Les needs to put fans in the seats and keep them ! He can do this by putting together a Team that earns the respect of the Fans and Public.

    Kidd
    Kobe
    Melo
    Shaq

actually, I would just be happy with a team that looked like it was going somewhere. It doesn't necessarily have to be a dream team, but if you are offering........

Well, I'd think seriously about Artest. He is the type of player that we need; an enforcer. That dude has got some killer D. On top of that he actually can produce on offense.

I'm not one of those who want a trade just for the sake of getting rid of someone that I'm pissed off at. The fact is that we have some glaring weaknesses right now and it is starting to appear that this team is unable to learn from their mistakes.

JVG even seems dumbfounded by this team. When a team consistantly beats itself or finds ways to lose games rather then just getting beat, that team has serious problems. It is a case of talent far out-weighing basketball smarts.

Besides Rasheed..who else can we get? I'd love to get Artest. But both of these guys are "nutcases". But they are stars too..I'd give up Taylor and Cato for them...even though doesn't work out. Shareef Abdur Rahim? Kurt Thomas? Antonio McDyess? There's really no one we can get! Taylor and Cato have been doing good for us too...we only lost the last two games by 1 point. We should have won those games...we just made careless mistakes..
