As long as they're not breastfeeding or carrying an unleashed, loud dog at the same time, I have no problem with it.

Depends. If you're praying in public because you really feel you need to pray fine with me. If you're just doing it to say that you pray, then I don't like it

How can you tell the difference?

I guess I couldn't care less whether a non-American has a problem with other non-Americans expressing their religious views, but as an American I would be ashamed of any other American who has a problem with Americans expressing their religious freedom.

People can pray in public if they want. Just like they can listen to their IPODS too loud so I have to listen to it in the elevator, or talk on the phone in the elevator when I'm standing right next to them, or wear too much cologne...

Where is this happening? I clearly don't work in a Muslim heavy area.

Hmmm. Dude maybe you just need to be a more "Assertive Atheist"?

I'm sure there are websites which could help you do that.

In fact, here's one right now:

    http://www.flamewarrior.com/prayer.htm

You would certainly have to tailor that specific website to include Muslims in the equation, but there are some solid tips there.

I'll pray for you to find comfort with people bending over and put in a bonus prayer petition to at least ease the pain by ensuring that, if you do see someone bend over, they are attractive to you.

    Cool? Great.

Seriously. If you are creating a disturbance while praying, clearly you are not focusing on the prayer. I find that I really need to shut out the entire universe (lights, sound, thoughts, everything) to get a good prayer in. I personally can't understand how someone could make that connection with people trying to walk over them lol.

I appreciate the gesture but am not sure it's worth inciting DD's burrito-fest.

I never once alluded to anything physical in any of my posts. So now, in addition to the lunacy that was you start to this thread, you have intentionally mischaracterized my posts as having physically aggressive overtones.

I will have to ask you to immediately case and desist from such intentionally misleading behavior.

Dude, whether I'm actually praying because I need to talk to God right there and then, or I'm just doing it for public show --- it's absolutely none of your business. I have a right to do it. If you don't like it, move somewhere else. You neither have the ability nor the authority to judge me on the intents of my heart. That is between me and God. If I pray because I want people to see me as a holy person, then I lose my reward from God. But even if that is the case, I still have the right to do it and there's nothing you can do about that. So what now, I go with my friends to the restaurant and we shouldn't pause and pray over our meal because you might be over at the next table brimming with seething prejudice and intolerance?

    Come on son.

I majored in Googling at the University of Phoenix.

Larry Fitzgerald was my classmate, he looks a lot like Sheryl Miller in person.

I think the word you're looking for here is "defensive", not "aggressive".

You post something like this and then say that anyone with an opposite view are the ones who are getting "aggresive"?

Ignore them if you feel uncomfortable. Telling them that they are unable to do this in public is a direct trespass against they freedom of speech, religion, etc.

I work at Chuck E Cheese, surprisingly alot of Muslims (they pray in very tight places so I can't get through especially with kids running around) and Asians go there especially on holidays like Christmas and Easters, it's packed with them, presumably they don't celebrate, but being Asian myself, I do celebrate the holidays but I don't know..

You make me laugh. Didn't remember you as such a ridiculous dork. Save the lawyer talk for your day job.
