Last night I tried to hook up my PSP to both my desktop computer as well as my Sony Baby Vaio laptop and I managed to get the same error.

It would recognize the device and try to add the hardware but would error out and say that the device is an unrecognized USB device and doesn't find any drivers and will not show the drive.

I checked around on some boards and found nothing that would really help. The only computer I didn't try it on is my bigger laptop which I will try later tonight.

Im running Windows XP on both computers with all the latest updates on them. Till this time I have been loading data on my Duo by using the reader that is built into the laptops I own. This was my frist attempt to do it via USB and ended up with this error.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hey man, I made a post on a videogame message board for you and the only response I got is that they bet you are using a Pelican brand USB cable. Is this the case? If so, a different (better) brand could do the trick.

Cool, thanks for the info...ill check that out later. It is a USB cable that came with one of my Cameras so i guess it must be a cheaper brand or something.
