    It lets you run copied disks, and other platforms games etc.

    But, if Live catches you playing a modded machine, you are forever locked out of XBox Live.

    Not worth it, if you ask me.

    From my understanding, it's a little harder to get banned because they don't check as much as they used to. I have mine modded for a solid couple of months and I know others that have had it for a lot longer and haven't been caught. They have the Stealth patch which makes it harder for you to get caught. IMO, it's worth it. You just have to use common sense though when you're playing these burned games.

    The better exclusives are pretty much on the PS3, Blu-Ray and thats about the gist. Franchises worth getting are Infamous, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Resistance, Killzone and of course God of War. Not to mention, the new Twisted Metal and Starhawk games.

    Valkyria Chronicles and Demon's Souls are my two favorite games of this console generation, and they are PS3 exclusive. Other good ones are the Uncharted series, Heavy Rain, Metal Gear Solid 4, Ratchet & Clank Series, inFamous series, Killzone series. Most people also seem to like God of War, but I'm not a big fan. Then there's the next Twisted Metal coming as well. So there's a pretty decent amount of good exclusives if you've never had a PS3.

    Damn man...I just bought a 250gb xbox on Monday. I heard that PS3 has been a top seller since the price cut and that Microsoft will follow suit with a price cut as well. FML

    Why? Just buy a used Xbox (it'll run you around $75) and use that one sans live. Playing a modded xbox on live is stupid, but modding in general opens the console up to so, so much more than just playing copied discs.

    I have a kinect and a wii, and outside of Netflix I hardly use the kinect. The concept of it is great, the games for it are lacking, and at the end of the day, holding a controller isn't half bad...
