Got his game a few days ago, its pretty fun. Its essentially Mario Kart for the PS3. The biggest difference is the creations you can come up with here. The first day it was out I jumped online and was amazed how many people created known characters for it, including some Mario ones. Any of you check it out? If so, I look forward to racing you. Just bring it correctly!
My treehouse. Actually, I am semi-interested. Loved the heck outta Mario Kart back in the day. If this is anywhere as entertaining then I might make it a rental. Is there a demo up on PSN?
I have both too, whilst my PS3 collects dust after I play their "exclusives" which are just exclusively too short to warrant purchases now, I enjoy the multi-plat games in superior form on my Xbox. PS3, the blu ray player that can play games, if there were any.
I've had both. I have yet to notice any difference between free ps3 online and paying for 360s service. I'll give the XBL the better UI but as far as the actual online gameplay, its the same to me. People who say there are more cheaters/cheesers on PS3 are talking out their ass. I've seen plenty of them on xbox live.
Not sure if I will pick this up or not... played the demo, and I don't think it really compares favorably with Mario Kart Wii. It would be different if they made it so it was like crazy Burnout-style speed, but it isn't...
The racing itself takes alot from Mario Kart, but makes it better. There's just more stuff to do. It also involves more skill and strategy than MK. And the modding of course is without peer. If that's your thing.
Rowdy - There is a demo online. I've been playing it a lot and it is fun. Drexlerfan22, I'll def play if you get it. I've been playing online, but it just isn't the same with me keeping $50 in my pocket. Maybe I can just burn that money.
I know, it's awful. It makes me cry at night that I don't get billed for online gaming that works perfectly fine. Anyway... now I'm considering this game a bit more, because one of my Bad Company 2 buddies just picked it up and seems enthused. But I've only just started with Red-Dead...
If you want to pick apart red dead with single player and multiplayer...you'll be on lockdown for quite some time. Of course, thats only if the game is captivating you like it is with me.
Some good ones. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/zQI1FSWl6JI&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/zQI1FSWl6JI&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
