Just wanted to say congrats CBFC. I saw some of the post-game show last night and they were all gushy over Chucky.

And I believe they dropped the name of your site, what? 3 times? On national tv no less!

lil late to post mebbe, but still, Kickass man!

CK: Thanks for the shout out. For those keeping score, the Chucky Brown Fan Club has been getting some good press lately -- it's an odd thing in a way, because much of the web content is old, other than the occasional update. But in the past week, the NY Times, Inside the NBA, Jim Rome, NBA.com and other places have been plugging the site. Not that I have time to do much with it, but we have about 500 new members in the past week. What's a member, you ask? Basically someone whose email I address I happen to have. So now there are more people who have given us their email address.

I may post some more in the Hangout Forum about what's up -- this is money time for Chucky, and despite his good national press, the Kings and Sacramento media are somewhat lukewarm to whole Chucky deal, and downright condescending to the CBFC. It's weird: Jim Rome, ESPN, Associated Press all love the Chucky angle. So do all these Sacramento fans who write in. But the media couldn't care less.

But seeing Barkley come correct on his Chucky Brown Karma on Inside the NBA was nice. Now Barkley -- who we like, other than his one-time insult of Chucky, contrary to conventional wisdom -- is on the good karma side. That is good for everyone.

Site should be updated tonight. Anyone in Sacramento interested in picketing the Sacramento Bee with us this week?

    thanks again
