This team looked structured, sound and unselfish. We were still missing Jeff Green and Reggie Bullock for veteran bench players. I said during the summer and will continue to say….Landale is not a shot blocker! We are a shot blocker away to be in the PLAYOFFS! Our shot blocker, our missing piece on this playoff team is Robert Williams in Portland. I would trade Landale and a FRP for him. Ime would love to have Robert Williams on this team.

Here here. I loved what I saw. Ball movement, communication, and hustle. At times I felt the energy flag in the second half but the moments the focus seemed lost only felt like moments. Not whole quarters like last year. I know it's only one game but I found myself cheering more on the defensive side of the ball than I had in years.

Not sure about Robert Williams but if anyone would know him it's Udoka since he played under him. I am concerned about our shooting %. We didn't have uncle Jeff or Bullock on the floor so that would help, but I think our overall lack of team FG% is going to lose a few games. But yes, yea professional basketball is back!

He is the 33rd highest paid center in the league today and probably will fall down that list into the 40s in the next year as incremental cap increases mean new FA centers will get more average money than him. I would say for being a guy regarded as one of the better backup Centers, he is making about what you would expect him to make. He makes a little over a million more than the center Atlanta picked at 6 a few years back in Okangwu who is still on his rookie scale deal if that gives you perspective on just how cheap he is.

If what you’re saying is true, then that tells me he’s a third stringer and if we’re serious about really improving then we need to get a Robert Williams or Capela or someone better. He’s a 6 point guy not a threat offensively or defensively.

I like the fact that this season will mean something to me. In the last 3 years i couldn't shake off the feeling that I could do something useful instead of just watching this. It was like eating dog turd and forcing myself to like it because it was my dog's turd not some other dog's turd.

My hope is the wins are boring and becomes the norm. The front office is quite because there is nothing for them to do. Coach does the coaching. We continue to draft like we have with the Brooklyn picks. Maybe change the uniforms next season and never look back.
