All i have to say is Dion Sanders aint got nothin' on Steve Francis.

man, did you guys see that highstep skip dribble Francis was showboating last night!?

what?...who cares if he did it at a time when he was 1-12 and his team was down by 10 points.

This is just another sign that Rudy has lost control of this team. I may have to sign that petition...I hope there's enough room to fit my signature.

Exactly what I've been talking about...

Rudy has no control and everyone playing street ball...

No one is running the plays there suppose to and just giving up on D (e.g. CAT on Kobe, Anyone on Madsen, Cato on Kobe's dunk in the 2OT...)

I don't know why the hell he keeps doing that. He actually did it a few times. Maybe he is faster when he does that? Notice how when he drives to the basket, he often hops to use his explosiveness. Maybe he knows what he's doing, don't bash him so much!!

The high stepping made me SICK:mad:

Francis is 3 for Tuesday, his team is down to the Shaqless Fakers, and he is showboating. He has absolutely no respect for the game and continues to make a fool out of himself.

And you wonder why he never gets picked for Olympics etc. Nuff sed..........

Ha! Ha! Those hops were definitely strange, but not that big a deal. The commentary has been funny though!

After watching Yao sagging on the bench after fouling out, SF's high stepping became that more unbearable.

Yeah, I know, I know. This is supposed to be a game but when you getting paid millions, at least pretend that you care when you are in public eyes.

That's how he brings the ball up. He does it in every game and it's nothing to get your panties in a budge about. If you pay attention you'll notice that when he does that he's also looking downcourt at how the offense and defense are setting up. But I guess it's just easier to bash him for it.

How many times does a good pass come out of it? Pretty much never. He shouldn't be hopping and pretending to survey the court, he should be PUSHING the ball upcourt strong (on fast breaks that is) and CREATING for other players. It's not football, he shouldn't act like he's waiting for Randy Moss to do a post route.

You people are losers, I have officially heard it all, mad at Francis for the way he is running up the court. I could see if it was something that caused turnovers, I could even see if it was truly high stepping, I take it as the guy just being enthusiastic, but in this time of Rocket bashing, I guess I can't be surprised.

BTW, primetime has two SuperBowl rings, and is considered the greatest cover corner ever, so if Francis achieves the equivalent in Basketball, I would be a truly happy fan.

Kobe just smacked us. It happens to a lot of teams. We actually played a decent game after the begining(sp?). No fire or trade threads please.

He's not running, he's hopping and skipping. Actually, it looks kind of like he's doing the triple jump for the Olympics.

    Woah !!!

    Hold on there fellas.

I have been as critical as SF as anyone, but I think Steve was actually doing it to try to shake himself out of the funk...you know, the old, Act cocky and be confident scenario.

I think he was doing that trying to get some kind of rythmn going.

    It didn't work...

It just shows that Steve Francis ahs no idea as to what is going on! If anything he should have run away last night!

Who gives a crap is my point, if you guys aren't complaining about him driving into the defense recklessly, then you are complaining about him not pushing it up hard enough into the defense.

Francis was 1-12 and down by 10 to the Lakers when he started to strut, skip, and highstep with the ball when bringing it up across half court. it was replayed and the commentators were kinda mocking him .... and his body language showed he was definitely styling n' profilin'

im always rooting for Francis but man to do what he did, at that time....makes me wonder...

You know what I can't stand?

Players that chew gum...I mean, seriously, don't they have any respect for themselves or the game of basketball?

    My 2 cents:

Whatever you call the leg kicking thing Francis does...it looks dumb, wastes energy and accomplishes nothing (it's inefficient).

The TNY announcing crew had a good time with it trying to figure if it was something he picked up watching Shaq 1on1 clowning in front of Brad Miller during the All Star game or same vague reference to the song "Skip to My Loo".
