Defensively this game is horrible. Transition D is non-existent. Battier really does make a different in our defense.
McGrady needs to stop sulking. It's a annual thing with him. He gives 50% for atleast first 1/3 of the season.
Adelman said a lot, but player don't want to play, the Veterans primarily, they know what they can do, They just not trying.
I think we are overrating those problems. We know McGrady, if he had felt bad, he would have already been out of the game. Some of you don't understand he is playing only his 2nd game in the preseason. It takes some time to get into the game shape. Obviously our defense is struggling but maybe it is player's effort. This is preseason and wins don't really matter, you just play to play, to get your rythm. Calm down, we haven't played well but this is preseason, not postseason.
If Yao can't play hard without putting himself in serious danger of injury, then he might as well retire right now.
The transition is horrible. when mcgrady with a gimpy knee is the last man on defense you know something is wrong.
Artest playing off the bench will help chemistry. Scola can then play a more involved game. Battier will help in defence. When they play a running game we need to have our fast players including Brooks out on the court
Our FG percentage is actually higher than the Kings, but they have 6 more rebounds and 5 less TOs than us.
He's probably being careful not to make sudden moves after tweaking his groin. I'm surprised he was put back into the game. I'm a little worried about McGrady. He doesn't look to be moving well and is struggling on defense.
