saw another David Aldridge comments on Yao:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nolan (Chapel Hill): DA, please take my question regarding Yao. What kind of player do you think Yao will eventually become? NBA legend, franchise player, all-star, starting role player, or bench warmer?

David Aldridge: I see him somewhere between solid starter and all-star. (But not until Shaq leaves.) He won't be a bust; he knows how to play, and he'll work hard at his deficiencies.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

what do you guys think about his comments eh? I'll say Yao would at least be an all-star - franchise player in the future. What's your prediction?

With no many decent center in the league, making a all-star is likely for Yao Ming.

i think all-star with the potential to be a franchise player and slim shot at being one of the best of all time.

It looks like Aldridge is safely putting his stock on "buy"...
