predict morey's next move? when he gets home tonight, he is going to take a big crap, then go to sleep forgetting to wash his hands.
And what a job he has on his hands!! Finding out that Rafer Alston is the only experienced Point Guard who at present can play anything like a playmaker point guard. Realizing that we have so many players who have difficulty playing the team game. Our back up Center is good for about 5 mins a game and that our new big man doesn't even have a notion on how to play his position. Novac having tried his best is still falling short of the min reqirements for an NBA player. Feeling the urge to make a last minute trade which will reduce our roster and bring us another quality player, which causes him big stress because it will still keep us in the Lux Tax Status, and Les won't like that!! Trying to find where Sura is staying over the next couple of days/nights to tell him his career in Basketball is over. Landry is going to make it! Mike James is a one man band, playing every instrument and in every position on the court! To him Chemistry is not even worth thinking about. We have Battier and the Grizz have Rudy Gay Steve Francis still needs to get into game shape
I think Lucas will get shipped out to someone like NO, Sura retire, then cut Novak and Snyder. It'll all be about finances, as the Harris cut has demonstrated. He was better than some of the players they'll keep, but if we go above the luxury tax limit, not only will we have to pay double for every dollar above it, we'll not get to share in the split of the of those who go over the tax. If they can move Alston, I'll bet they try, which is probably why he's being showcased. Novak is the lowest guy on the cost totem pole, and he just doesn't bring anything more than his outside shot, while someone like Landry has a more all-around game that can be developed. 67.865 million is the luxury tax limit this year, and if I understand correctly, we're a little over 2 mil above that limit. So, if we save the 2 mil from Sura's buyout and ship off Lucas to a team that gives us a TE or has cap room, we should be able to sneak under the luxury tax. But, I'm sure they are just as worried about next year as this, so that'll play in the decision, which is why I believe they'll cut Snyder over Butler.
