Can anyone help me out and tell me where I can catch the ROX pre-season games on T?

Also does anyone have updates on how Yao Ming is preforming in the Asian games?

Anyone know if the Memphis game has been picked up for League Pass preseason?

Does league pass even do preseason games? I called Time Warner the other day to sign up but they said they didn't have the codes yet or something?

What??!! The preseason is and always will be (hopefully) free. If you have NBA TV and those NBA Channels 601-614 you should be able to begin to watch preseason games for free beginning Sunday.

I watched a couple of Rockets preseason games on League Pass last year. They're selected games.

I've been out of the loop, do the Rockets even have a TV deal yet?

My cable company continues to state that League Pass won't begin until October 29th. That hasn't been the case in the last two years, when I've always been able to catch one or two Rockets preseason games. This is really pissing me off.

Question to anyone who has ordered league pass already:

Has the blue screen with the cheesy elevator music and league pass logo popped up on the league pass channels yet?

I still have a black screen saying "subscription service".

Yep. This is what I got from Time Warner here as well. But I do somewhat remember them being as the Truth points out free. Or maybe it is just a select few?

Another question is will there still be streaming audio on the net now that the broadcasting station has changed to 610?

Time warner sucks aasss! They have pissed me off anytime I have delt with them. Directv is the only way to go. TW is a rip off. They over charge. For example, last week I was at a friends house in Houston. The ESPN game plan is 14.95 a day for all the games. They charged us $14.95 for 1 game and tried to tell me that it's $14.95 per game, when the ESPN game plan web site clearly states it's $14.95 for all the games that day or $99.95 for the whole season. When I asked TW about it they said that ESPN sets the rates. Bull SH*T!

Don't worry. I think they got into a Enron type deal, so hopefully they won't be around for a lot longer.

P.S- I know this is off-topic, but TW bashing should be allowed in any forum.

I emailed the pay-per-view providers at www.indemand.com a couple of days ago, and got the following response:

    Hello-

As long as you are signed up for the package, you should have access to the pre-season games included in NBA LEAGUE PASS. The schedule should be posted by next week. We are waiting for it to be finalized from the NBA.

Please feel free to contact us with any other questions.

The schedule should probably show up sometime next week right here: http://www.indemand.com/moviesandevents/viewProduct.jsp?page_sectionId=4&prodId=4633

Not yet...but it said it would take 3 business days for my order to go through...if it's not working tomorrow I'm gonna give my cable company (Cox) a call.

Without the Rockets having a TV deal (51 or Fox SW), I wonder how that will effect how many games are picked up for preseason pass.

Thanks for providing the e-mail response DCkid. I did the same work you did today, tryint to look for the in-demand preseason games list, and all that stuff.

I bought league pass yesterday and on channels 911-921, I am still getting the NOT AUTHORIZED screen. That had better change in 2-3 days.

I expect to hear that cheesy elevator music soon.

Any latest news on if any preseason games are going to be shown on League Pass. I do not think Time Warner is going to show any this year.

Does Indemand provide league pass for Time Warner? In that case, preseason games will be televised starting Tuesday. Unfortunately, it looks like the Rockets game won't be on, but at least there will be some NBA action!

I am able to look ahead on my digital cable menu to the 19th. The next three Rockets games will NOT be televised on League pass. But for the 3 remaining preseason games after th 19th, I still don't know yet. I'll be really pissed if I miss the first game Yao plays in...even if it is a preseason game. I'm pretty the sure the complete preseason schedule will be online next week.

I really need to give my digital cable company, AT&T, a call. I can barely look ahead to the next day. Everything after two days ahead is "to be announced".

Yes they do. My Austin time warner place tells me tell me they will start showing games the first day of the regular season. I called in my preseason order on Oct 3rd, and they still have not activated it.

How do you know they start showing games on Tuesday?

According to my guide, NBA games will start on Tuesday. Call your cable company, and just tell them to turn the league pass channels on. You should get a blue screen with cheesy elevator music and the Indemand logo. If you get that, you should get the games on Tuesday.
