+ I know what you are going through, 3 of the past 5 years I have had someone close to me pass away during the holidays (My dad, an aunt, and an uncle). Stay strong. Your family is in my prayers.
Well, I just got a call from my mother (she came home last night and is doing well) that my granny (dad's mother) died. She died this morning at 7:30, they say peacefully. This was a LONG time coming as she had been in a nursing home for close to 4 years with dementia and had suffered several mini-strokes. I hate to say this but we all have been wanting her to die for quite some time. Thankfully, our prayers have been answered and she does not have to suffer anymore. Thanks to all for your prayers and concerns. We will continue to remain strong and know that our loved ones are in a better place - one that they do not have to suffer anymore. RIP +++
I hope you and the rest of the family can pull together and support each other during such a rough time for you all. It doesn't matter how old the important people in your life are when you lose them... the emptiness and regrets over things left unsaid remains. Manny, I wish you and your family the best.
