Just to pass on some bad news. My wife and I went to the hospital last Wednesday night because the baby hadn't moved all day. Long story short, we lost the baby. We were 39 weeks along. She had to birth the baby on Thursday. She is fine (thank God) and we are now home taking it one day, hour, minute at a time. Lots of crying together, but we have lots of family supporting us. It won't be easy, but we will make it through this. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. And if you have children, please hug them extra hard tonight and tell them that you love them. ima
oh my god, man. that is so terrible. You and your wife will be in my prayers. so sorry. my sister went through the same thing a little over five years ago. she now has two beautiful kids (in addition to her 18 year old) that are a blessing to us all.
So sorry...I don't know what to say but hang in there. My baby brother was a stillborn and mom had to do the same thing.
I'm so sorry Ima. I've known quite a few families who have gone through this now. I don't and never will understand why such horrible things can happen to good people. My wife is pregnant at the moment, and damn if these stories and memories don't shake me up. 39 weeks. Damn man. Damn I'm sorry.
I'm sorry to hear about that Ima. My wife & I lost one at around 10wks and it was very tough. I can't image losing one 29wks. We'll definitely keep you in our prayers. We were also told that it would be extremely hard for my wife to get pregnant, but we've had two girls since then. Keep praying & things will get better.
Been down that road, sir. Thoughts are out to you. email me at droxford at comcast dot net if you need someone to talk to who's been there.
