I live in ACC country and Forte is regularly described as 6' 4".

If that's the case, I will be as bewildered as the folks who realized they actually had a shot at Paul Pierce because some crazies had drafted Jason Williams instead. [IMG]

Can Rodney White play the 3 in the NBA?Shifting from the 4 in the college game to a small forward requires very good ball handing, ability to create one's own shot, and defending opposing small forwards who have been getting bigger and quicker over the last few years.Which player in the NBA does Rodney White resemble the most?
He sounds like an Antoine Walker type of player to me.

You're describing the SF postion for a league with Illegal Defense rules. That description may no longer be valid.

    The rockets will draft
    at 13: Rodney White
Ive just got a feeling about this guy, havent seen him play a ton, but hes got PERFECT size, unbelievable stats, and from what ive heard he will be great-He gives me EXACT same feeling that Shawn Marion gave me.

    at 18: Ousmane Cisse
Watch out for this guy! He will be dominating in a few years. I have seen tape of him and oh my. He avg 29, 16 and 13 blocks last season which is great even for high school, and I bet hed be hook up with Kenny to form a great PF duo. I dont think his production would be any worse than miles' this yr.

    22: Kenny Gregory
He fits this teams run and gun style so perfectly and will make them much more exciting with his gigantic hops. He has a horrible shot, but that can improve with lessons from bullard. He reminds me of a more talented Corey Benjamin. Either a bust or will be solid, not great. A good pick for rockets, is also a good defender.

I think they should trade 2 of their pick for a player or to move into the top 10 however. Possibly trade 13 and 22 for a player like Austin Croshere or Rick Fox.

I agree on all your picks EB. White will be a player in this league. Cisse outplayed Curry head to head. The guy is a monster rebounder. I would be ecstatic if we got him.
Also, Gregory would add a little depth at the 2 spot, and add to the intensity and competition in practice.

Woods was the understudy of Cato...dude has no heart for the game 90% of the time.

You're right about Woods. He wouldn't lift weights, he wouldn't practice, his apartment at U of Arizona was far from campus. In Sporting News, he was asked, Would you play basketball if you weren't tall?

I think the same thing happened with Cato. You can make a good living in the NBA just being big...look at Osterfat...but Cato and Woods don't have passion for the game.

He may turn into a right handed Mobley. Which is very good.

I would like to see the Rockets pick,

    1. Michael Bradley (13th pick)

    2. Joe Johnson (18th pick, if we get it)

    3. Ken Johnson (21st pick)

These players should all be available at those picks. A center, a power forward and a small forward.

I think the Rockets should take a look at Richard Jefferson. He's a good sized player who doesnt mind to play defense and has offensive skills
