I was thinking, since Giambi's injury will sideline him for awhile, Baggy would be a perfect fit with the Yankees. He'll get his pennant, and sock it to the team that originally traded him. I'm pretty sure the Yankees will take his salary as long as we take on of their bad salaries (Contreras $$ via CWS).

They just picked up John Olerud a few days ago as insurance for Giambi. It would be painfull to see Bagwell in pistripes anyways.

    Hardy-har-har.

Do y'all even bother thinking about these ridiculous situations at all?

First, Jeff Bagwell is a Houston sports legend. He is not going anywhere.

Second, if Jeff Bagwell went to another team, IT WOULD NOT BE THE YANKEES. Jeff Bagwell was born and raised a Boston Red Sox fan. In no way does he approve that trade.

Thirdly, like I just said, even if everyone wanted to get rid of Bagwell, he cannot be traded without his consent. He wants to stay here and finish his career. That's what will happen.

    Just let it go.

Maybe trade him to the Cardinals to play left field?
