I love Amare's range, but I don't trust the Rocket's team doctors to take care of him.

I think this has a really good chance of happening.if Amare want to come here.its ether the cavs, nets, heat or us.but think since the nets and heat can just sign next year there going to low ball the suns.which leaves cavs and us.

my hunch we are getting amare. im not saying i want him, but for the last 2 years i kept sensing it,from rumors,to watching brooks and landry always torch the suns ,I always keep thinking that Kerr is drooling over Brooks and Landry. Also Morey tweeted that he was sitting with Kerr during last game there.,

ever met a person who the opposite happens to everything he wants? when you want them to lose they win,and when you want them to win they lose? Im that person. I want iggy we wont get him. I want bosh we wont get him. I dont want amare so that means we get him. (the opposite of what i want always happens).Im George from Seinfeld.I need to do the opposite of everything I wish in order to make things I want happen.

I know why the Suns do the trade!

Because they are stupid! Yes thats right, every team that trades with the Rockets trade with the goal of improving the Rockets and accepting deals that makes no sense!

Um since when was Shaq & Yao the same player?

Shaq can't and never will be able to shoot the ball the way Yao does.

You obviously only read that portion of my post so there's no point in pleading a case.

IF (big "IF") Stoudemire agreed to stick around here, sure, there's a chance.

Stoudemire would be that great 4/5 for the system we're playing now, even if the sticker shock involved in getting/keeping him would be unbelievable.

Seems like Amare's aiming for the bright lights of the big market, though. We're a big city, but we're not a big market. New York Knicks, the soon-to-be-Brooklyn Nets, etc.

I say let's do it. That would give us roughly $1.3 billion in expiring contracts this summer. We could afford to buy a whole new franchise and name it the Houston TradeDeadlines. And have Rudy coach it.

Probably the reason we haven't made any moves yet is because we refuse to simply make a trade to get better this year. If we trade for any star, Amare included, it would have to be for years to come. Since Amare is a FA this offseason, the only way I could see us giving up assets for him would be if we could re-sign him immediately. Since I don't see this happening, I am really really, really skeptical regarding us acquiring him.

This is exactly what Morey wanted! No not Amar'e, well actually maybe. But this is what he's waiting it out for. For the big names to trickle out and he's hoping to land one.

The rumors were there last year, wonder if Houston still has any interest in Amar'e? I'd say he fits the description of "young, athletic forward" that Morey and Clutch make reference too.

Amare hates Houston, I just don't see it happening.
