    hey james posey:

stop shooting! you are hurting the team with your terrible shooting. your shots are flat; they will never go in consistently. so, you should be smart enough and not attempt more than 3 outside shots in a game unless you make all of them. another thing is DON'T EVER ATTEMPT ANOTHER 3-POINT SHOT AGAIN BECAUSE YOUR CHANCE OF MAKING ONE IS .009 LESS THAN ONE PERCENT. please visualize yourself as bruce bowen cuz you are exactly like him. all you can do is play defense. it's time for you to think straight and play right.

James, I have been saying it for 2 weeks now, Posey's lack of an outside shot, and his stupidity to keep shooting them, is more of a problem than the guards. I know I am in the minority, but man I hope we don't resign him, I would rather have TMo start.

Yeah. I think you are in the minority. But man...I don't care. We need to get rid of Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley, James Posey, and Rudy Tomjanovich. :) They are all screwed. This team is just too inconsistent.

James Posey...he hasn't been shooting well. Neither has Mobley. Terence Morris has been making his shots when he gets the ball. BUT DEFENSE?!?!? God...Caron Butler just scores 50 points on him.

just look at james posey shoots once, and you will know this guy can't shoot. period.

if you know you're not going to make it, why put it up?

49 mill for 7 years and not a penny less for the second leading scorer on the ....... oh yeah the Nuggets. Hmmmm. Then when EG and Yao mature and are up for theirs we have to let them walk because we have 25+ mill locked up in Posey, Cato, Taylor, Norris, Mobley and probably Morris and Hawkins by then.(all future stars in the making......not!) But Rudy is such a great judge of talent that he will get some guys from the CBA if it's still around. Oh but then he has to coach them and that's a problem too.

I'm starting to agree. With the lack of offensive consistency that our primary scorers display, Posey just multiplies the problem. And frankly, I don't think his defense makes up for it...kind of like Shandon Anderson.

Same thing applies to Taylor... they both went 2-10 today, and Taylor did it in half the time.

And I thought I get nervous when Eggie shoots, Poesy has had a real bad shooting streak lately...

Lil....Posey (the supposed defensive stopper) gave up alot of those points to Butler as well. Don't get me wrong JP can play decent defense, but he isn't one of the best defenders in the league, and that doesn't make up for his horrendous shot. A nice backup player JP is, but a starter that signs a 7yr 49million deal he is NOT.

One more thing to add about our shooting... why do we (as a team), jack up so many freakin threes when we cant sink them (4-21 at 19%!!!)??? Geez

Our whole team has looked terrible.
    franchise?..NOT...WHAT?
It's an effect....our good players don't do well...they influence the rest to suck too.
Mo Taylor started off good...BUT man...The Miami Heat played very well...if you think about it. They didn't just say...oh we're gonna lose. They were very tough and prevented Yao from getting the ball. They played good defense and made their shots consistently.
The Rockets need ONE PERSON WHO CAN MAKE A JUMPER CONSISTENTLY...JUST ONE...AND WHO IS NOT OLD...AND WHO CAN DEFEND.
The Heat were just having fun out there.

We shouldn't resign Posey if he asks for too much money. He hasn't looked too energetic and happy and all fast like he used to be.

But we cannot rely on Terence Morris and Glen Rice.

    Agreed.

People keep dogging Steve and Cat for having poor Ast/Turnover ratio's, but how are they expected to get any assists period when our shooting from the 3 & 4 spots tonight was a woeful 11-38 (29%).

Yao didn't get the ball because they double down on him with their forwards. The Twolves did this a couple of weeks ago as well Teams are starting to figure out that our forwards suck, so if you double down on Yao, or converge on SF and the Cat, the forwards can't get it done. Like I said earlier the KT trademay benifet us long term, but it killed us this year.

I am not that against Posey shooting wide open jumpers,
but tonight he had some bad shot attempts when he was not open and we had plenty of time. In addition the timing he tried those shots were the critical point of the game, when we were only 7 or 6 points behind.

Rudy also shares the blame for not defining the roles for players and a plan for that situation.

But Posey at least played better than Mooch.

I know. That is very frustrating...for Steve Francis.
HE has to like score himself every single time because nobody makes their shots...only once every 13 shots.
    Mobley has been terrible.
    Griffin has been OK.
    Posey has been terrible.
    Cato has been OK.
Yao has been denied the ball...can't do anything about it.
MOOCHIE...just looks terrible, but looks better than Mobley.
Morris hits them if he's WIDE open.
Maurice Taylor makes a few...but never draws any fouls.
    OUR TEAM IS SUCKING NOW.
It's kinda like the Lakers earlier in the season. They were all pissed...Shaq and Kobe..because their teammates apparently weren't helping. Their role players weren't doing their role. :) Now it looks like the Rockets...:(

Don't resign Posey if he continues to play badly and PICK UP 3 FOULS IN THE FIRST 6 MINUTES OF THE GAME. And please fire Rudy if we lose to another crappy team.

I have never been in favor of firing RT, and am not now, but man I can see how you guys have been ripping him this year. Why did he start out the 4th quarter with out neither 1 of our primary options I will never know, none of those guys could score, and it killed us. I did notice RT take out Posey in the first Utah game in favor of TMo when he started shooting stupid shots, and not passing, but he didn't do it tonight.

why not? with or without a man guarding him, he can't make a 15-foot jumper anways. please just look at his shot.

Steve Francis and yao played the entire 3rd quarter. He wanted to have one last run in the remaining 6 minutes of the game. He gave Yao and Francis a rest. I guess he has confidence in our bench. But MAN...watching Moochie did not make things better. Moochie was gone in like 1 minute. Rudy must have inspired them to come back...but they fell short. BE PART OF SOMETHING BORING.
