doesn't anyone else here feel bad for tmac? someone on orlando really needs to step up as 2nd gun on that team. the inconsistency of not having a solid 2nd scorer (every night its someone different) is really killing them. just think... and its amazing that they finished 6th in that kind of predicament. there's no way that 1 man... the T-MAN is gonna be able to take the BIG THREE himself. ------------------
well they'll have grant hill next year ------------------ president of the sleepy floyd to hall of fame club. http://www.it-is-truth.org http://members.fortunecity.com/omar369
someone told me that grant might play point next season... just so they can organize the Mike Miller, tmac, hill lineup ------------------
Why would I feel bad for a person that gets paid millions of dollars to play basketball for a living in Orlando, Florida? ------------------ Gabba gabba we accept you we accept you one of us Gabba gabba we accept you we accept you one of us

McGrady had a sure thing in Vince Carter. He knew going in to Orlando, that Hill's ankle was suspect. Hard to feel sorry for him. ------------------
Speaking of 1-man shows, does anyone here feel bad for KG? At least T-Mac can say that Hill will be back, Miller will be a year better and older, they should have a nice draft, and could make another splash in free agency (A. Davis?). BTW, when is KG's contract up again, not that I think the Rocks should make a play at him in another 2-3 years ? ------------------ [This message has been edited by Live (edited April 27, 2001).]
SCREW T-MAC! GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCREW KG!!!!!!!!! His ass hasn't taken his team out of the first round of playoffs for ever know. Dont give me that garbage about being a one man show. Last time I checked Terrell was not exactly a garbage time player. ------------------
You know what, they used to say the same thing about Dream. YES, OUR DREAM! And I think he turned out OK. Actually, I have a lot of respect for KG. Unlike SOME players, he hasn't demanded a trade, asked for more money, compalined about a lack of exposure, compained about the snow in Minnesota, complained about Halle Berry refusing to be naked in a movie ,whatever. He still believes in the team and his teammates, which is rare for a player of his stature. ------------------
when he is actually healthy that is. I do feel a little for KG, but imo he needs to learn to score more if he wants to really win. He needs to take his offensive game to another level and be more assertive on the scoreboard. ------------------ snap crackle pop
Wouldn't it be impossible for Garnet to ask for more money? Wasn't his monster contract the final straw that brought about the current CBA? I thought his contract for for well over $100 million? ------------------ Give me ambiguity or give me something else. Remember, you are saying this about a player who TURNED DOWN a 7 year 119 million dollar contract and then signed a 7 year 126 million dollar contract. He then said "It wasn't about the money". ------------------
Totally agree! In order for Minn to take that next step, KG is going to have to become the main offensive player, become more selfish in looking for his own shot. I was trying to be faceitious (sp?), forgive me. At least he hasn't done a Frank "You promised that I'll always be the 'Highest Paid Player'" Thomas, give him credit for that. I would stop defending him if he did. ------------------
Garnett couldn't ask for more, because there is no 'more' in NBA after his record contract. 7 year 126 million = 18 millions on average. And pepople complained about Hakeem's 16.5 million in his LAST year? Garnett is gifted, but he is taking an easy way out. He is not shouldering the responsbility of typical 7 footers. Yeah, he can play small forward excellently, but he leaves much of the dirty work in the paint to others. I will be pissed if the best and tallest player in my team dun go into the paint and take most of the punishment. The team will not go to the next level if he doesn't start doing some tough job. That is why Iverson is repected by his team despite taking every opportunity to shoot. He takes all the beating. If you have watched Garnett in Olympics, you probably know what I am referring to. He was ineffective. His beautiful/graceful play is not going to intimidate/kill the opponents. Even Hakeem has been very physical since his young days. ------------------
