the next 2 weeks are critical.... 2/11 Utah 2/12 @ Utah 2/18 @ LA 2/19 @ Pho 2/21 Dallas looks like the Rockets are going to get a taste of playoff basketball. the pressure is on to stay in the top 8.
let's hope the rockets win 3 out of the next 5 games. they must beat the suns cuz that's the easiest game out of the 5.
I disagree it's probably the hardest game of the five. They play the Lakers and then the Suns the next night. Expect Yao not to play well against the Suns.
Rez, That is what happens when you lose to the Caveliers, Grizzlies, Clippers x2, Golden States of the world. If the Rocks would have had respect and played those teams the right way, they would have a cushion right now. Growing pains hurt. DD
We're not THAT young. I think the Rockets are going to surprise a lot of people though. We're a lot more talented than our record, and our players know each other now, and Rudy has a better sense of who has chemistry with who and stuff like that. Of course, that's the case with all teams, but no one has had a bigger roster change than we have had since last season. Yao Ming James Posey Mo Taylor Hawkins Those guys weren't playing last year. Steve Francis Glen Rice Those guys missed significant minutes Boki is new, but doesn't play so it doesn't really matter. I think having this half a season of growing pains is fine. But I expect to see some better basketball, and to have as many wins as we're on pace for winning, regardless of whether we're at home or away.
NJRocket...PROBABLY NOT. We just can't win on the road. But if we do make it...then Kobe and Shaq will be on the first team with 2 All Stars that didn't make the playoffs.
i still don't get why we have to play UTAH back to back nights..just pointless..who ever makes this schedule..i'm wondering what were they thinking..it might be the computer
