Looks like a little slacking for Boston on D tonight. I would imagine Garnett is getting on the role players about the mental mistakes, you know he doesnt want to lose one against ATL. The problem with loose playing athletic offenses like the Hawks, you can get on runs, but when you are as streaky as they are, it wont win you a series against a much superior opponent.
For an Eastern team, I think Atlanta has a good roster. If more of their players were in their prime, I wouldn't want to play them. But for now... I want to play them. I couldn't imagine losing teeth against the Hawks.
On the side note. Does anyone think Doris Burke could become the first female NBA coach? She is the only female commentator I enjoys listen to in any sports. Very insightful for the most part.
I hope this series goes 6 or 7 games. Now that would be a perfect addition to this weird season considering the series we expected to go 7 games (sa-suns) is looking more like a sweep.
Josh Smith is a supremely talented player. Wow- blocked shots, highlight-reel dunks- and a 3-pointer to cap it off. What a fun player to watch.
