My Rough guess be, it'll be VSpan who'll get the boot. we'll need all the 3 point shooting we can get when teams collapse on yao. With Novak we camn spread teams. with Span, we get nothing lucas or Alston or head cant provide.

It's fun when you have open polls like this. Then you can easily tell whose posts to ignore in the future. When you have dafatha00, Invisible Fan, and TTRocket voting to leave Rafer off the playoff roster, then you know that these guys are probably nice guys but are lacking a clue or two as far as basketball knowledge is concerned.

The person who voted to leave Luther off the roster was Mr. Clutch. The joke practically writes itself.

I voted for Billy. Does anyone hear really think he'll be able to contribute to this team in a playoff series? Even JLIII gets in the game before him for defensive purposes.

Why would Luther Head even be in the poll? That was a protest vote against the poll.

Ahh, OK. That's a valid reason. :) Don't be making protest votes on an open poll without actually stating your protest. The irony was so glaring.

I left out Steve Novak, simply because he's probably gotten the least playing time, and we don't really need another 3 point shooter right now. Poor guy.

I agree. He might shoot bricks for the rest of his life, but we can't run our offense without him.

point being, like him or hate him, he is the best the rockets have at PG and voting him off the playoff roster is flat out stupid.

if someone is trying to make a statement by voting for him, fine, but that doesnt change the fact that he helps this team more than the next available option. And from a pure basketball standpoint (personal opinion aside), someone would have to be a bumbling moron to think rafer shouldnt be on the roster.

but i suppose people with an ax to grind will vote against logic and common sense to make their irrelevant point
