I have a really good feeling about our chances to contend for a championship this season.

Last year we ran into the eventual WC Champs in the first round where Shaq and Yao pretty negated each other.

This year we have a much better opportunity with Shaq in the East that makes Yao exponentially more valuable.

Yao still has alot to learn but I feel has a chance to turn it up a notch because of two things.

    1. level of competition (he is not playing against Shaq in round 1)
    2. play of Tmac - PJ mentioned in his book that no one could get Shaq the ball like Kobe could. All the attention Kobe garners benefits Shaq and vice versa. Watching all the games this year I notice the same with Tmac.. no one feeds the post (Yao) as well as Tmac he has that uncanny ability to find the seam, correct angle and timing in which to feed Yao. JB is our most creative passer but Tmac is our best.

I cant seem to contain my excitement for the playoffs to begin and im betting alot of you guys feel the same.

I really didnt care who we faced as long as we were steamrolling into the playoffs and not stumbling like the Kings, Sonics and Griz.

    J
