what are your percentages based on?

personally I think the western conference is set.
Sacramento vs. Denver ---> Sacramento easily, their offense is just way too potent to be stopped by the Nuggets.

Minnesota vs. Houston ---> Yes I am very biased, but I can see the Rockets pulling this off. They have the tempo and defense that are successful in the playoffs. Minnesota doesn't double Yao (they might after tonights game) and Francis has great games against Minny, so I say Houston in 7.

San Antonio vs. Memphis ---> San Antonio in 7. The series will be close, but the Spurs have Tim Duncan (best playoff performer in the league) and the championship experience that Memphis doesn't have.

Los Angeles vs. Dallas ---> Los Angeles in 5. Shaq Kobe Karl and Payton is just too hard to stop in the playoffs, especially considering Shaq will take it up a notch and the Lakers defense will be more focused. No way Dallas wins this series.

I am not sure about the bracketing, but I believe Houston would play the Lakers and San Antonio would play the Kings.

Los Angeles vs. Houston ---> Talk about a match-up. Yao vs Shaq, Steve vs Payton, Mobley vs Kobe Cato vs Malone. Looks like the Lakers have a 'rich mans' version of the Rockets players at every position but PF, where Malone clearly is better than Cato. I think the Lakers take this series in 7, based soley on their exceptional talent, but don't be surprised if the Rockets shock the world (seriously) and take this series.

San Antonio vs. Sacramento ---> San Antonio has defense and an MVP, while Sacramento has no defense and a habit of losing in the playofffs. Spurs take this in 6 as Duncan shows us why he is the best in the NBA.

San Antonio vs. Los Angeles ---> If Houston gets this far, they lose no question. I believe that the Lakers will also lose because after this many games their old bodies (Shaq, Payton, Malone, Grant Fox) will have been worn down. Spurs in 6.

Spurs win NBA title again. :(

the percentage is based on their win PCT. I take one, divide by the other, and divide that number in half.

    For example

    Team A is .650

    Team B is also .650

    (.650/.650) / 2 =.5 = 50% ....etc.

Maybe for next next year, Rockets need some time. For this year, only chance for Rockets to pass first round is playing with Timberwolves, Kings, Dallas, Lakers and Spurs are too much for this Rockets team.

The first round has been expanded to seven games, so that
will work against any major upsets.

Twolves would be consistent: 1 round is their finish line.
They are gonna be kicked out by Rox. :)
