If Chuck Hayes can't make layups and Scola is a foul a minute, then why not bring Carl to add to the rotation. He is bigger than Chuck, he can actually make a layup and dunk, and he brings some nastiness for them, alot of hustle. He can play a similar role to what Ronny Turiaf does for the Lakers!!

A better finisher than Hayes, and he's got a nice jumper. I think you lose a ton on defense, though.

I'd rather give Scola the time.

"more" is a bit misleading since he doesn't play at all. How about "Put Landry on the active roster!"

In a sense they're kind of agreeing, seeing how its Novak and Brooks the young guys in the D-League. And Landry's the only young guy who's gotten a handful of minutes this year (Even a "Landry's" player of the game ;) )

His defense has to get better though. Not sure if his D is bad or good but he's definitely behind.

Well Landry like Scola has to get used to the NBA speed. Scola has had a lot more time on the court and he still isn't dominating like he did in FIBA ball. Landry was a stud in NCAA basketball but he's just getting his feet wet. Takes time.

Agreed. Give the kid five minutes. He adds a ton of energy.

He'll get his minutes. I'd rather Adelman bring him along slowly and let him earn more minutes as we go.

How can he make a layup when he's always shaking on the court. He is not comfortable yet out there.

This thread read my mind exactly, give Landry the time to develop now and it will pay off in the playoffs if we make it. He can finish off a play 90% better than Hayes.

Yeah, well Landry has way better vertical leap than Hayes. He has a sweet 18 foot shot and he knows how to post up.

    Big Baby >>>> Aaron Brooks

HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE mistake, could have filled that void right there.

unless Aaron Brooks >>>> Alston, Francis, James ? *sighs.

Big Baby is getting playing time for the Celts and producing good numbers, and our 2nd rounder is a DNP-CD!

Big Baby is playing because Kendrick Perkins dropped a freaking bed on his foot and they have no back up center.

Big Baby was a risk they didn't want to take. Personally I like Big Baby, he's a fun guy to listen to. Did you see what he said after the game "I'll do what the coach wants me to, but want my big guy back. I'll do whatever it takes, I'll massage his toe whatever" Dude is just funny.

As for Carl. I think he will get more playing time. We all know that Scola and Chuck will inevitably have foul trouble (sometimes in the same game!) so Landry will get his chance. Also, when he is getting PT he is doing pretty well on defense and that will only get better.

we would have lost if landry had hayes' minutes.

seriously, do hayes detractors dvr games and then just fast forward through defensive possesions?

hayes gave rasheed hell last night. hayes is a big reason why the pistons only scored 77.

    passing lane ninja!

and i remember at one point after making a crafty steal the espn cats said something like "he hustles, he defends, he plays passing lanes, he's every coaches dreeeeaaaam"
