I don't know if any of you listen to the PA announcer at the Pistons home games, but he's annoying as heck.

    Example:

    "J-j-j-jumpball"

He's got to be better than those annoying kid announcers. They're so scratching and take forever to get the words out.

I miss Ray Clay of the Chicago Bulls, he was the best.

He even has dumb ways to say Chauncey Billups and Ben Wallace. Apparently Kenyon Martin threatened him when he called him Keon Martin.

I guess he's trying to be revolutionary or something, but he sucks.

The Miami guy tries to rip off the Detroit guy. Denver has a kid, I think. So stupid

    For player introductions.

I still don't get the hatred of the kid. I know we love him here.

the pistons guy is definately the most annoying announcer - however, the "dee-troit bas-ket-ball" seems to energize the crowd, so i guess it works.

Yeah, I noticed that today, I wasn't watching the game, but I could hear that dude in the background...

Man, it was annoying... No wonder those fans are crazy, they prolly get bored of him and decide to throw things around the arena and mess with the players...

The De-Troit Bas-Ket-Ball is the one good phrase he has. Everything else sucks.

    Chauncey B-b-b-billups.

    Ben Bububububu Wallace.

    What the hell??

Actually Houston's PA announcer makes me laugh many times because every game he has to remind the crowd be "Louderr".

I agree. How many times does the poor guy have to emplore the crowd to get off their phones and "make some noise?"

Doesn't help that he sounds like a 15 yr old either...
