HAHAHAHAH http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=fanball-bullspippenwillretir&prov=fanball&type=lgns Bulls: Pippen will retire by Fanball Staff - Fanball.com Thursday, September 23, 2004 News Bulls forward Scottie Pippen has told friends that he plans to retire prior to this season, the Chicago Tribune reported. Pippen and the Bulls still need to work out any contract details and make an official announcement. Views The future Hall of Famer was a five-cat stud throughout the entire 1990s, but bad knees have limited Pippen in recent years.
About time. I doubt many tears will be shed here. He was used up several years before, but he just hung around like a cold you just can't shake.
Pippen> Drexler What a shame, the game will never be the same. At least it'll bring great joy to my heart when he is inducted to the Hall of Fame.
GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!! IT'S ABOUT TIME! BE GONE PIPPEN, BE GONE!!! Now only the worst being to ever play the game in Karla is left.
I have mixed feelings about him. I was very disappointed at his attitude and performance in Houston but I admired him for his all round skills too.
Good player, crappy attitude. Never was a fan, but he was definately a stud for a while there. That said, he should have retired 3 years ago.
Except he isn't due any. Good player, yeah. But when you quit on your team(S), call out other players to get what you want, and make a name for yourself at others' expense, you deserve no 'due respect'.
