Yet you waste so much of it posting on this board. Hmmm.....maybe there's another reason you are afraid to drive out here?

The problem I have with the 4th is that I'm going to the game.

I'll check to see if the 3rd is available, but Saturday's are usually booked.

The Khan-baller would love to school some CC'ers. I live in NW Houston and will be in Mid Town in a month. Houston would be fun but League City is a bit far.

There are 24Hr Fitness w/ Bball courts everywhere as well. I really don't like playing on outdoor cement courts, and weather conditions are a factor.

OK, I hate doing this, but I really think the 11th would be better. That Sunday the 28th is the last set of games to see who goes to the Final Four.

I'm being a brat, I know, but hey, at least I'm not whining about how far it is to League City. :D

28th works fine as long as there's a television available. Hell, I'll bring my roommate's little tv.

Wonder if we'll get enough people to make that treacherous hike???

I think there is a TV available, but I'll find out for sure.

And I'll have plenty of snake bite kits and start a fire to keep the coyotes away.

mmmm... brisket. another thing i hated about georgia was their barbeque. pork this pork that. i had never heard of pulled pork until i moved there. it was ok, but nothing compared to beef.

edit: of course i wouldn't complain if you had pulled pork anyway. :) didn't mean to sound the the arsehole that i can sometimes be.

man, i am in, but just thinking about it. I live way the hell up in nw houston. well not way the hell up there in nw, but near the beltway and 290. I am going to have to haul ass all the way to league city which is almost near galveston it seems like. I am not really down with that. But to play pick up ball with other clutchfans, i guess it might be worth the ten year trip.

It's really not that far. It will take less than an hour on the weekend. I live about 15 minutes from League City, and my wife works at 290 and Hollister. I then drive up to the beltway, and go to my own job at I10 and Dairy Ashford. Even in daily rush hour traffic, I still get her to work in about 45 minutes.

I can get a pick-up game anytime I want at the downtown Y. In fact, I pay for this privilege. Why should I drive all the way down to League City, when presumably, the competition is FAR below what I am accustomed to playing against? No.

Maybe I'll send my understudy like the last game.

Well, this didn't deserve its own thread, but I'm leaving in about half an hour to head up to Round Rock to visit my sister for the weekend. If there's anybody in the Austin Area that wants to hoop, I'll be on the court behind the Clay Madsen Rec Center in Round Rock, on Gattis School Road...Look for the short guy in black shorts...

    Bring it!

    Phew, bullet dodged.

    Someone's scared of Sonny, though.

I called Sonny out and he wilted like a flower. No response whatsoever.
