Can you convert avi files to gifs with photoshop? And if you can, how do you do it?

You can export an entire movie in adobe premiere as a series of jpeg’s (about one for every half second of film). I can do it for you but it can’t be until this coming Monday.

I would really appreciate it, if you don't mind. Thanks a lot.
