Weird clause for the Phoenix Pick given to us in the Brooks deal. Basically, it says that we get Phoenix's pick if they make the playoffs, and Orlando's pick if they don't.

If the eastern conference also-rans like NY/Philly/Indy don't make a huge run at the end, the 8th seed in the west will likely get the #18 pick in the draft. Orlando likely gets #23 as of this moment. Since there's not much to root for as Rockets fans right now, I think this bears worth watching.

Would be a weird situation if we end up with about the same record for the 8th spot near the end of the season and it comes down to us winning or losing a game to get in over them.

Morey would sign himself, threaten to fire Adelman if he doesn't play him, and record a triple double.

Yeah in TO's, missed FG's and missed FT's...Quadruple double if players were allowed ten fouls

    Sounds about right.

We play @ Phoenix on 4/8 and vs. Phoenix on 4/14. Even if we have no chance of making the playoffs the Rockets need to contra-tank.

This pick seemed more like a throw in. That said, we all know Morey can work wonders with late picks. Of course, in some ways getting an early 2nd round is better than a late 1st due to contractual obligations to the 1st.
