Yea, I saw him at NYC not too long ago. Also I get to see him next month in Houston as well.

He has a new album coming out called "Youth" on March 13. They already have a video out for the first single on www.mtvu.com

Video is badass, so is song.

Hey Mateo, how is the recruiting demand from companies from a UH MBA? What about the pay scale difference to say an UT MBA?

I really have said this a billion times, but every time i mention it the thread is suddenly dead. "FINALSBOUND" was started by Desmond Stevens, my best friend Nicole's brother. He was on here up until like, a yr and a half ago, but then he moved to Washington DC after getting married. I wanted to get an account on here, so he gave me his user name and password. Basically i'm really cheap for not just paying the forum fee or whatever, but Des said he didn't have time for the forum anymore, cause he read it everyday and it consumed his life (which I didn't believe at first, but now I do after getting to know some of you guys  lol). It is addicting. But anyways...yeah. Sorry for the confusion. I used to be a male, who went to Mayde Creek. Now I'm a female, who graduated from Katy HS in '05. Nice to meet you. I'm a lot more interesting than him anywayz.

Anyways. Ed Gein is a grindcore band, so the name is understandable.

MR. BRIGHTSIDE, I noticed you said you liked Sufjan Stevens. Do you know if he's going to be at SXSW? Cause thats what i heard, but I can't find it confirmed anywhere. Anyone who knows...i'd really appreciate it.

I dont really know how the recruiting scene works for UH grads. I was employed while at school and when I got my degree I forced my company to pay me more. Luckily for me, they bit...because the other job I was considering was at Enron (yikes.)

My firm doesnt recruit out of UH. The recruits they bring in during the summer are mostly East Coast schools, Ivy League strat types who love to talk about their gammas and deltas. However, by going to UH at night I was able to make some nice cash during the pre-Enron trading heyday and get the trading experience to get this gig. Everyone's road is different.

The firm I am working for was looking for MBA graduates with more than 5 years in energy trading and transportation....so in my case, it was the experience and the fact that I had an MBA degree that got me in the door.

Besides, some of the best commodity traders I have ever bet barely graduated from college. Its a mutt science.

he's still top 5...but i've come to respect nash's game more than ever before...before, he was simply "canadian"...now, he's also the reigning mvp and proven himself more fully as a player.

Sadly, Sufjan isnt performing SXSW this year. He's gotten too famous!! I saw him in Seattle in July. Pretty good show.

Anyways there are some good bands out there like What made Milwaukee Famous( these guys rock) , Mogwai, Belle and Sebastian, Snow Patrol (although they suck performing live), We are Scientists, and Rhett Miller among notables.

If you're into the urban scene I hear Talib and Blacklicious are performing as well.
