Which team this year is in danger of getting upset in the 1st round of the playoffs by a team that just matches up well with them?

Here are some unexpected results from the last six years:
    2007: #8 Warriors defeats #1 Mavericks 4-2
    2010: #7 Spurs defeats #2 Mavericks 4-2
    2011: #8 Grizzlies defeats #1 Spurs 4-3

I can see LA beating the Spurs.

Gasol / Howard duo is heating up at the right time.

And it seems as though Blake is channeling his inner Kobe by actually being a competent scorer.

    SA better be careful.

Out of that bunch, safe pick's gotta be GSW vs. DEN, but I like our chances. :)

Carmelo's playoff career is similar to T-Mac as he has only been out of the first round once, and with them playing Boston, this IMO is the most likely first round upset, with GS over Denver as the second most likely.

the 2 best chances in the poll are Boston to upset NY, and Lakers to upset the Spurs.

I'm thinking the Lakers are a longer shot, but the Spurs have been playing terribly AND signed McGrady, so sounds like a first round exit.

OKC, Denver and Miami are locks.

Boston can beat NY if everyone is healthy. LAL have a chance against San Antonio if TP is injured and plays poorly. If TP is healthy, Spurs are a lock.

I honestly don't think Denver beats Golden State. I also wouldn't be surprised at all if Boston won.

There is no way Milwaukee is winning. I think the Celtics have the best shot, but the odds still aren't great.
