this stuff tastes like crap. vanilla coke is good, mountain dew: code red is good. pepsi blue tastes like crap. do not buy it. it was a horrible idea .
This was posted before, however I didn't post in the old one. Well, all Pepsi-Coproducts are evil, and I'd never drink a Pepsi, EVER. But Vanilla Coke. That tastes GOOOOOD. I love those. Almost as much as sprite!
i bought pepsi blue and vanilla coke a couple days ago to say i atleast tried it, but they were both rancid. berry and soda just do not work together. vanilla coke tates like cream soda to me, not too good. the best twist on a drink is by far mountain dew code red, that stuff is friggin awesome.
Vanilla Coke rocks! I haven't had Coke since they strayed from the original formula...Classic Coke just didn't taste right... Code Red MD is awesome! I have always loved Mountain Dew...and I like cherry...so It works out for me there... But....That Red DP stuff is nasty..anyone tryed that one? I never drink Pepsi products...has always tasted 2nd best to me... (well...except for DP..isn't that made by Pepsi?)
I had Pepsi Blue the other day. i actually liked it more than Vanilla Coke. Which isn't saying much because I thought Vanilla Coke was terrible. It tasted like soimeone melted IceCream in my coke and it had a really bad after taste. Code Red is ok but I am not a big MD fan. I have not tried the red DP. As for DP it is actually contracted out to different companies in different regions. I have a good friend that works for 7-Up(I'm still ticked at him for not scoring me an Up-Yours shirt) and he explained how it works. In Beaumont Coke has the rights to bottle DP(we have a coke bottling plant here). Thus since they bottle DP we do not have Mr. Pibb, which I really like better. The contract with coke runs out soon here(not sure when) but the area 7-up distribution center is looking to bid on the contract to distribute DP. SO I am pretty sure DP is its own corporation that just contracts out to different soft drink companies for distribution. On another side note. On my recent trip to San Diego I noticed that most resteraunts had Pepsi products wioth Dr. pepper. The only place we went that had coke was QualCom stadium. CK
I haven't tried Pepsi Blue, but I have tried Vanilla Coke and I was not impressed. It seemed almost as if the separate flavors split off once in my mouth, and the coke settle on the bottom of my mouth, and the vanilla on the top. The result was not a pleasant one, and I have not had any since. Mountain Dew: Code Red is pretty good, although I don't find it to be better than any other cherry cola or uncola, for that matter. I also tried that Red Fusion crap by Dr. Pepper...I don't get it at all. Now...I do SERIOUSLY dig on any of the 3 Mountain Dew flavored Slurpees at 7-11. Those things RULE.
Dude I tried that Red Dr Pepper and it tastes the same to me. I mean almost the exact same. Maybe this was a little less fizzy, but maybe it was just flat?
Pepsi Blue juked me. Somebody told me it tasted like bubblegum snow cone. Oh well. BTW - If you liked Vanilla Coke, why not just drink Cream Soda. IBC Cream Soda is my all time favorite soft-drink.
I actually do drink IBC cream soda...Love that stuff too...but I'm the only person I know that likes it... Castor. I actually do prefer Pibb to DP...but Pibb is hard to find sometimes...especially out of the Houston area..I went to visit relatives in OK last year, and I couldn't find any Pibb at all...which was cool..cause I'll drink DP in a heartbeat instead.. I guess that's why I thought DP was a Pepsi thing...I always see it in the soda machines with Pepsi...
Many bottling companies are independent of the sodas they produce, including some that produce and distribute Coca-Cola, Pepsi and others. And some are owned & operated by their soda company. Dr. Pepper/7-up itself is part of Cadbury Schweppes, PLC.
Posted 10 days ago man... http://bbs.clutchcity.net/php3/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38535&highlight=pepsi+blue my thoughts - it isn't that bad if you let some fizz go down.
