I don't think any PDA has Windows XP. They have Windows Mobile if that's what you talking about.

Just get a smart phone. PDA is a dead technology now.

well the thing is its not for me, and the person i am buying for, will never pay extra for the data mining plans. otherwise i would probably have gotten him a blackberry.

You know I love it when you're loving me
But sometimes it's better when it's publicly
I'm not ashamed, I don't care who sees
Us hugging and kissing, a love exhibition
    Ohhh

You probably won't get all of those features for under $100. You can buy an older, used PDA with wi-fi, but it will have crummy battery life and a poor signal. Newer PDAs with wi-fi get better reception, but you're going to pay for it.

No PDAs that I know of have XP.

You can get a Blackberry, a Palm or a Windows Mobile device. They all have their pros and cons. You need data to take advantage of blackberry, and since your friend doesn't want to pay for data, that's out. Palm is the most mature platform out there with tons of apps, but it's starting to show it's age and is in need of an update. Windows Mobile is the flashiest and works the best with Windows apps, but it's not as stable.

Buy a PDA phone / Smart phone online and use it as a PDA only.
I dont know about getting all those features for under $100 though...and as others have mentioned there is no XP for PDA. Newest MS operating system for PDA is Windows Mobile 6.

Palm Centro is a hundred bucks with a Sprint subscription. Not much love for Sprint though. With a new phone plan from any company, PDA or Smartphones can cost 100 or less after rebate. It's just what company you like and how much you want to spend.
