They advertised that there was gonna be an autograph session with the Power Dancers last night, but when we were leaving, they were forcing us to take the stairs that led out to the street.... did anyone actually go to the session?
i went, good times, got to be on the court again, everybody was cool to me, i wore my santa Rockets hat and got some props from pretty much all of them. Out of the new ones, Jennifer (Dec 07) and Natalie (Dec 08) had to be hottest ones in person. My fav. Heidi is looking old to me and got to mess with Kam with Vanessa, pretty funny stuff. Side note, thats a bunch of garbage when they tell people to go to the stairs that leads them out of the arena. It happened to us when Yoyo was down for the first game and he wanted to go to the Rockets shop, so half of us were able to sneak back in and the other half of us, the security were being b****es to us because we couldn't re-enter. I get pissed everytime they force me down those stairs, so i go to another set of stairs where i know that I'll be still in the main concourse when i exit. EDIT: We couldn't take an pics with them, I brought my camera, but the voucher itself stated "NO PHOTOGRAPHS"
Vanessa is pretty in person. There was a thing that said no photos or some bull**** like that. I wanted a picture of me and Leandra, and me and Vanessa. Vanessa remembered talking to me on the phone during the draft night party. that was good stuff. some of them were ehhhhhh. Some of them were yeeeahhh!
Well that sucks about the photos, guess they wanted the line to move as quickly as possible. Vanessa is one of my favs too. Gonna pick up one of the calenders on the 15th and see how many I can get to sign it in our pregame and postgame wanderings
I mean no disrespect, because I understand what they do isn't easy (added to whatever other jobs they have), but why would people want the autographs of the dance team ? Are they well known? I don't get it, but whatever... ^_^
just for the hell of it my case. I have a calender, it has their pictures, why not sign it while your at it
I didn't take photos WITH them but I did take photos OF them.. I will post them today when I get home. Unless someone took better ones.
were you one of the last ones? I wouldn't think they would be as strict when they less people waiting, oh well as for the autographs, I'm not really keen about it either, all I really cared for was taking pics, but couldn't even do that, ohh well there are other games.
yeah that was total bull luckily i got back in through the front door. i guess that is either a bad design or just a bad way to handle people leaving. did they make you do that again?
well we left to go down actually early, like with 3 mins left in the game, so we just walked pass by them. One of our crew was forced outside but luckily he got back in
Couldn't agree more with you Dave - luckily I asked some ushers what section the line was going to be and they let us through, but we still got to about the middle of the line (Me and lost elephant) Jennifer and Natalie were definitely the cutest, but the signing was really rushed - it kind of reminded me of Freebirds or subway where your calendar just got passed along and you lost track of it - you hardly had a chance to talk to any of the PDs, and some of them seemed like they really didn't even want to be there but I couldn't blame them - having to sign thousands of calendars for peckerheads like myself. I think the best part was getting to walk on the court after the game.
I was taking them as I walked by them, I didn't tell them hey look at me and then I took it. Hehe, so maybe thats why they didn't mind. I didn't know they didnt allow cameras. I was wondering why they all looked surprised by me taking pictures haha. Mostly everyone saw me taking pics, even of the court and goal and stuff. No one said anything. There was these guys behind me taking pics of eachother and one of the dudes in the jackets told them to quit, but they were taking pics with an Iphone. Plus I didn't have a calendar I got one of those posters instead . I was actually going to tell them to sign my cup. Since it was the only thing I had that they would be able to sign. Thank God for those posters!

forgot to mention that Yao was there. He wasn't in line, but i know he was scoping some RPDs. He walked from one tunnel through the court to the other tunnel. He's a tall mofo.
ohh yeah, we went to the sky court because we got there early because we wanted to get a calender. I checked my wingspan. It's six feet two inches.
yeah I saw you man I was rocking my Longhorns hoody - it's funny I posted a thread on here about a free ticket to last nights game and lost_elephant was the first to reply so we met up at TC and were lucky enough to find 2 calendars on the ground close to our seats. I'm glad they weren't asking for vouchers to get them signed though. I figured after my last ticket fiasco on the board I could try and redeem myself by letting another poster use an extra ticket. I believe in karma haha.
btw, anyone got an extra calendar for sale? or if you wanna give it to me, i dont mind either! I unfortunately got to the game too late and I stood at will call for about 15 minutes because the lines were so damn long. anyway here are the pics... ..
