He can play both!!... he even said that he see's himself as a SG, its mention in the video at the 4:33 mark <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ivCtVeCP9XM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ivCtVeCP9XM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> --RB
Thats the beauty of it, Paul George is a SG. People on this board are constantly complaining about size, size, size... Now we get a chance to get a 6"8 SG a la Danny Granger. This kid looks like the real deal, and if Morey somehow selects him, it will mean that the magic numbers have spoken. He's apparently already had 2 workouts in Houston, and both have gone great. I think Morey isn't r****ded, if he stays at 14, he will take the BPA and won't try to draft a bigman by all means necessary like some of you guys would like to. I'd rather have Shaq behind Yao next year than Whiteside or most of these rook's.
Thats like saying Chuck has at 6'6 would be better suited playing SG... If he can defend the guards I don't see whats the problem of his playing at the 2. He's fast and has good ball control. I doubt he'll be there at 14 though.
Oh and BTW, that was Damion James in the Orange shorts - arguably one of the great defenders entering the draft - guarding him...
He isn't going to get get past the eighth pick. The Clippers need a small forward in the worst way....
Al Thornton??? Are you serious??? Al Thornton is the Anti-Shane Battier. He'll put up some nice individual numbers, but his team will inevitably lose because he is simply not a smart player. He's a poor team defender and has a habit of goal-tending at inopportune moments. He also has very poor shot selection. Basically, he's perfect for that current Wizards roster. Paul George would likely be a SERIOUS upgrade over Thornton, assuming that George is coachable enough to progress on both ends of the floor. There are a lot of "lesser" players than Thornton who could be swapped into that Clippers lineup and it would have produced a couple more wins. Al Thornton.
Overall Al Thornton is a solid offensive player but he's a bad teammate and he can't do anything else. Clippers traded him to get far under the cap and because he wasn't producing like they thought he was. He was suppose to be the starter last season for them but he couldn't get his act together.
I found another video, where he describes his game as a Joe Johnson/Rudy Gay type, but eventually wan't his game to transform to something like a "Tracy McGrady" type (but hopefully with better work ethic  ) <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/46FPE7tHeKw&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/46FPE7tHeKw&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> --RB
Also, refrain from ever mentioning Frye again, unless the sentence has only two words and the second one is "sucks."
Chad Ford thinks he's a poor man's Tracy McGrady [Comment From Kyle] Where do you think Paul George will go in the Draft? What kind of player do you think he can be? Will be? Who does he remind you of? Thanks CHAD! 1:53 Chad Ford, ESPN.com: He's generating a significant amount of buzz right now. I think his range starts at the Clippers at 8 and goes to the Wolves at 16. You're not going to find a lot of 6-9 two guards with his skills. Reminds me a bit of a poor man's Tracy McGrady.
The more I hear and see this kids game the more and more I fall in love with him. Seriously, what's not to like? He has tremendous upside, is extremely young at 20, has great size for his position Shooting Guard, and can play multiple positions. Hoopshype has us taking George at 14, I can see this happening if we keep the pick, but I don't see the Raptors taking Daniel Orton at 13 maybe Epke Udoh if he's still available. Maybe even Whiteside. http://hoopshype.com/draft.htm
