need one for first week of November. cost? do i need to get it expedited at this point? cost of expediting? any tips/recommendations on the process would be appreciated. travel is just to Canada.
It will take about 6wks at the Post office - should be around $100 I believe. They can expedite it down to around 4wks but the price is higher. Any faster and you'd have to go to the state dept. office probably in downtown (at least thats where ours is in Dallas) I got one in about a week but it cost me about $190 - luckily it was for work so my job paid for the expediting. I had a passport photo taken at a CVS pharmacy and showed up on a Thursday morning. I had my passport the following Tuesday. I did see a guy there who got one the same day and flew that evening for an emergency.
they make passports for all the southern US right here in Houston....Mickey Leland Federal building downtown I got one done in about 2 hours once.
Agreed. My wife got our boys passports back the same day. Most time consuming part is getting the picture ...which you can do at CVS or any number of places.
