I don't want to bash Rudy. Or Steve. Or Cat. Yao.... It's not the fault of one player. And I'm sure I should probably be more understanding that we have a winning record, we're better than last year, it's only mid-season, we're young, we're in a tough division....

    But....

It's heartbreaking to be be a Rockets fan. Nauseating. Aggravating.

If I wasn't a fan, I wouldn't care; It wouldn't bother me. But I am a fan. I do care. It does bother me.

Is it possible for us to have an official "Lament the Rockets' struggles" thread?
Won't you lament with me? Cry with me? Barf with me?

You're not the only one in pain right now.

    My god...y'all are in pain?

    Way too sensitive!!!

If you are going to cry about the Rockets losing...you should support the Kings! It would be just great if the Rockets won every single game.

    Oh well...

Let me cry with you... :(

I'll lament with you. I went to the pistons game, got there a full hour and a half early, but the cheapest available tickets were $46 dollars (seems fishy considering earlier in the season against the spurs i got 10 dollar tickets an hour before tipoff). I am then forced to sit through the ugliest, most pathetic basketball game i have ever witnessed. We played so stupidly, cant hit a shot, freeze out Yao after he misses 2 shots, and so on... Today i wake up early to see us play the bulls, and we freeze out Yao again. Steve cant make a layup, mo cant make a layup, Yao's almost given up trying to wrench the ball from our stupid, selfish guards. How can steve turn the ball over so easily so many times in a row? Why is every pass he makes so incredibly difficult? Why cant steve pass to a trailing Posey on a 2 on 1 fast break? I guess we'll never know.

There ya go... let it all out. Let the tears flow.

The emtional roller coaster is painful. Beating the Lakers, I felt we were soaring like eagles. Losing games to teams like the Bulls, I am in shock.

I have a friend who recently was an hour late to the birth of his first child because he had to attend his father's funeral. He said to me, "Wow! You can't imagine what an emotional roller coaster I've been on this past weekend." I thought, "No, but close. I'm a Rockets fan."

I was already crying during the game when I was in the chatroom. Is it possible to sue the Rockets for loss of lifespan? I swear watching most Rockets games takes atleast a few months off of my life. I can actually feel a gray hair popping out of my head during Rocket games.

    Anyways.....:(

    The pain, the agony...

    It's simply unbearable.

The Rockets will either drive me to an early death, or possibly suicide if they don't win a game soon.

    j/k

There's always the Astros, however. (But it's not like they don't know anything about making me cry).

    -cough, cough-

Be a man, finalsbound, be a man.

I am with you, man... Being a Rockets fan is never easy, and getting harder everyday. It even goes back to 94, 95 when Rockets were winning the championships. If a guy can sue Mac for being fat due to their fatty food, we sure can sue the Rockets too. :D :D ;) ;)

Losing is one thing. Watching us make the same mistakes over and over again and have no improvement and progress at all really make me :( .

    :( :( :(

Good post, droxford. You summed up my feelings as well. I want them to win and do well SO BADLY...but they make it so difficult to be fans sometimes.

I need a beer to cry in.

:( I mean I just want them to be the best team they could be. I mean after wins over Lakers, Sacramento and San Antonio.....it's like nothing can go wrong but then here comes Memphis, Chicago and even Clippers........TWICE. Being a Rocket fan is tough but this is what I do to try and feel better. I just say "hey, we're young and we already good, give us a few years and we will be right there". But to be honest it doesn't always work...........the pain is too unbearable.
A few more points............the announcers were going crazy over Yao Ming. Seems like EVERYONE knows how important Yao Ming is except the Rockets.
