    The start of the "Scrap Iron" era begins. Hopefully it will be better than the 1M era.

    7-16 -- Jake Peavey (5-3, 2.43) vs. Andy Pettitte (5-2, 4.14) 7:05 on FSSW

    7-17 -- David Wells (4-5, 3.09) vs. Roy Oswalt (8-7, 3.65) 3:05 on FOX

    7-18 -- Brian Lawrence (10-6, 3.89) vs. Roger Clemens (10-3, 2.62) 1:05 on FSSW

    well, we have to win all three, but i believe we'll win 2 of 3...I can't see how Phil Garner is going to make a huge impact, but what the hell do I know...

    It's basically his turn in the rotation. With Roy going on short rest going into the break and Roger pitching the ASG, it makes sense to start with Andy. I believe it will be Pettitte, Oswalt, Clemens, Munro(?), 5th starter (Redding, Duckworth, or a call up).


    WWW ...confidence comes back and we sweep a contender.
